Delpha Bartley-Jones
Delpha Bartley-Jones has more than 25 years of experience as an accomplished leader in Management, Banking, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and community development. As First Vice
President, (FVP), and Regional Manager for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA ) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the Alabama market at Valley Bank, Delpha is focused on fulfilling standards that address the needs of the communities we serve.
She is dedicated to impacting economic growth and development, expanding affordable housing opportunities, championing small businesses to gain access to capital and collaborating with local partners on financial educational services. Additionally, Delpha helps to drive financial success by analyzing investments, increasing loan growth, and seeking out activities for greater community
service and development impact. Delpha also serves as the Regional Chair for Valley Bank DE&I Associate Resource Groups for Black associates called BELIEVE, Black Employees Leading in
Inclusion, Excellence, Vision and Empowerment.
Prior to joining Valley, Delpha held leadership roles at Woodforest National Bank as a Regional Sales Manager for Central Alabama, Cadence Bank as VP and a Senior Relationship Manager & Team Leader for Small Business Banking and as a VP, Business Banker at Regions Bank.
Delpha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is currently pursuing her MBA from the
University of North Alabama.
Delpha serves as a board member for Birmingham City Wide, Kid-one Transportation, Alabama State Black Chamber of Commerce, Co-chair of the Mayor’s Small Business Advisory Council for
the City of Birmingham, 2022 Divisional Chair Shelby County for United Way of Central Alabama Capital Campaign and works with many non-profit organizations.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and participating in most outdoor adventures.
