In 2016 God spoke to us about opening a coffee shop. In 2018 God spoke to us again about starting a non-profit. While working with the homeless community with our church, our vision became clear.  The Modern House is a coffee shop where we only hire people experiencing homelessness, to work and earn livable wages.

While earning a livable wage, our employees will go through financial literacy and nutrition classes.  We will also provide them with a life coach to help equip them to be successful in today’s world.
