We are a community cafe and food justice group. We operate in North Birmingham Alabama. Our neighborhood is very low income which results in insolation and disinterest. There are no grocery stores or restaurants in this area. We started Stēz to counter that. We are passionate about culinary arts, and are using our combined knowledge of the industry to create a community cafe. We have operations for free menu items and monthly meals for the community. This cafe is also a place of education and introduction to dishes and food experiences that many may have never encountered.
