Lajuana Bradford is the director of Corporate Social Responsibility in External Affairs for Regions Bank. She directs programs in diversity and inclusion, environmental and social governance, economic development, volunteer programs and charitable response to disasters that together promote a broader definition of social responsibility. Corporate Social Responsibility operates cross-functionally with different lines of business, including Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Community Affairs, Corporate Advocacy and Mortgage. Bradford’s extensive career in the financial services industry spans more than 27 years and has included positions in community affairs, community development, retail banking, regulatory compliance and project management. Bradford holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College, in Providence, Rhode Island, and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Executive Leadership Program. She also completed Boston College’s Management Development Program in Corporate Community Involvement. Her commitment to community service is seen through her current and past work as a board member of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, the YWCA of Central Alabama, the Alabama Region of the American Red Cross, the Alabama Humanities Foundation, the Red Mountain Theatre Company, and the Miles College board of trustees.
